Primark announces the opening date of its new
new store in Lanzarote
Primark, the international retail company, will open the doors of its long awaited new store in Lanzarote on Thursday 22nd June. Located in the shopping center
Open Mall in Arrecife is the first Primark store in Lanzarote and the 58th in Spain. The new store will create more than 100 new jobs, promoting the creation of new jobs.

Last April Primark launched its new website in Spain, which aims to establish a better connection between online search and in-store shopping. The new website features thousands of products from Primark’s best-selling collections, as well as a refreshed design, improved navigation and a new feature that allows customers to check stock and size availability at their nearest Primark store, including the new store in Lanzarote.

Last year Primark reinforced its commitment to Spain by announcing a capital investment of 100 million euros in the Spanish market. This commitment includes 80 million euros in eight new stores and one expansion, and the investment of 20 million euros in the improvement and renovation of stores. Lanzarote is the second of these eight stores, following the opening of Primark Toledo Luz del Tajo last April. More than 1,000 new jobs will be created over the next two years as part of the company’s growth plans in the country.
