Great news for the Open Mall Lanzarote Shopping Center and for the island of Lanzarote: the Open Mall Lanzarote Shopping Center has been elected Best Shopping Center in Spain for the year 2024.
Within the framework of the 20th Spanish Congress of Shopping Centers and Shopping Parks, recently held in Valencia, the Open Mall Lanzarote Shopping Center has been awarded as the Best Shopping Center and Shopping Park in Spain.
This recognition, granted by the Spanish Association of Shopping Centers and Commercial Parks (AECC), highlights the quality and innovation that Open Mall Lanzarote has brought to the sector.
The event, which brought together more than 1,200 professionals in the field, culminated with the presentation of the AECC Awards, which celebrate the most outstanding projects and actions in the sector. With 123 competing entries, the Open Mall Lanzarote stood out among the best, being presented by Archigestión.
This award not only reflects the effort and dedication of the team behind Open Mall Lanzarote, but also underscores their commitment to excellence in the retail experience.
The business vision of the shopping center was, from the beginning of its project, to provide the island of Lanzarote with a wider range of brands and services and to be the meeting point for all kinds of events for the inhabitants of the island, a vision that gave rise to its slogan: “We are open”.
Located in the neighborhood of Valterra, in Arrecife, the shopping center was built on a plot of approximately 30,000 m2, with an ideal location for both residents and tourists who come to the mall every day: with a facade facing the Rambla Medular, and near the port of arrival of cruise passengers to the island.
The project has been conceived with the idea of expanding it, in a second phase, on the land adjacent to the shopping center. This second phase is scheduled to open at the end of 2027.
The management of the Open Mall Lanzarote thanks all its team and collaborators who made it possible, through their work and perseverance, to achieve this recognition.
